One of the leading supermarket chains in the country, with more than 145,000 dedicated colleagues serving more than 18 million customers in store every week. With tens of thousands of employees working in stores spread right across the country, training and supporting this disparate workforce was a big job. The supermarket chain ran a pilot with Evotix Learn to digitise, improve nationwide training efficiency, and encourage more store colleagues to engage with learning and communications resources to be better informed, engaged and upskilled. They also wanted to improve the onboarding experience for new starters and all internal job transitions for frontline staff. We created Mobile and kiosk learning and communication videos, for management teams and shop assistants alike.

The ability to easily distribute training videos in real-time, with assigned pathways and personalisation made learning fun and interactive, aiding both engagement and retention.

The Results

93% of colleagues stated they would be more than happy to use the learning app on their personal device.

Over 70% of users consumed digital content from the resource centre, proving the popularity of digital communication.
